O Soleil hopes to raise awareness within the community and especially amongst children on the positive impact they can have on the planet and the ways they can drive change for the better.
“Reducing waste, recycling and repurposing items is the simplest way” and one of the most fun and engaging ways to do so.
As part of our mission, we encourage parents to involve their kids in a fun and easy way to make change by taking simple and meaningful steps:
“Repurposing the shoe boxes into something useful”. It is true that the concept of “reuse” is different from “recycling”, but it does lead to reduced consumption – which is always a good thing. If Children learn from early on to recycle, they will carry that good habit with them for life.
For this reason, we will be sharing, frequently, brilliant DIY upcycling projects on our platform. By doing so, we hope to help parents to ignite their kids’ imagination and encourage their creative thinking. From a toy train to an elaborate dollhouse, an aquarium to a car garage, a light up theatre to a farm, the possibilities with shoe boxes for imaginary play are simply endless.
